Having both spent time living & working in Africa & Europe we’ve learned from the best and worst of Architecture in both. What We Offer
If you have an Auntie / Cousin whose friend is back home who is an Architect or you’ve not got anybody lined up we’ve got you covered. Our return to roots service offers two key routes Concept Design or Design Review. Both are focused on getting your project off to the right start with a clear detailed brief and great concept design. The success of any construction project hinges on getting this stage right. A great brief & concept design gives you something to refer to throughout the process to ensure you get what you want.
Once we’ve got you off to this great start we’ll help you communicate your vision to your local team and offer guidance and support as you need it working with your local team to navigate permission to build, technical design and managing your contractor.
How it works
Design Review Service
If you have concept designs or prefer a local architect, our Design Review Service provides impartial feedback from both European and African experts. We review your drawings as often as needed, offering practical advice to ensure your designs align with your hopes. Our service includes thorough plan evaluations and honest feedback on functionality, sustainability, cost, and local context. Starting with a detailed Project Brief by us maximizes the value of our reviews.
Concept Design Service
Begin your project with a collaborative, tailored design process led by us. Share your ideas and aspirations, and we’ll take the time to understand your ambitions, your site, and your influences. Our European and African architects work together to create innovative concepts that honor your vision and respond to local conditions. You’ll end up with a clear detailed brief and concept design refined through feedback and accompanied by visuals and sketches.
