A&A House

Anna and Aidan love hospitality and wanted to make space to grow their family. Their terraced house had three generous bedrooms but lacked good family and hosting space as ground floor rooms were dark and disjointed. Their priorities were to bring in natural light and create a big space for their family to thrive.

At the start of the project we focused on helping Aidan and Anna think through their project, developing several concepts for them to choose from, then obtained planning permission for the agreed plans.

They had a builder lined up, though we supported them in checking other options to ensure they had a competitive quote. After this they managed the build themselves, but they called us back in to help when the builder deviated from the plans. We built a convincing justification and secured a new planning permission despite the new proposals contravening local planning policy.
